My youngest is starting preschool this week. She is super excited. She has two new backpacks that she has been breaking in the past couple of weeks. She takes them everywhere packed full with all sorts of treasures. She has specific things she likes about each one. Unfortunately, her preschool requires a tote bag rather than a backpack. I haven’t broken the news to her yet because I know she’s going to be heartbroken. I’m working on a special tote bag for her to make the news a little easier to bare. She’ll still get a ton of use out of her backpacks, she’ll just be disappointed she won’t be able to use them at school.
This little owl backpack from Skip Hop is the cutest thing ever. It’s the perfect size for our little Parker. It has a side pocket perfect for a water bottle and a zippered outer pouch for smaller items. The zipper pulls are leaf shaped adding a fun detail to this already adorable backpack. It’s a really nice quality backpack, especially considering the affordable $20 price tag. If owls aren’t your thing, Zoo Packs are also available in 17 other animal styles!
And the cuteness doesn’t stop there! Add a Zoo Lunchie lunchbox (mix or match styles!) for only $14. These insulated lunch boxes feature a wipe-clean interior and keep food and drinks cold. An inside pocket holds an icepack or utensils. The lunch boxes also have that cute little zipper pull I love so much!
The HABA Wildlife Mini Backpack is another good options for preschoolers. It’s about the same size as the Skip Hop backpack but this one features a belt clip which Parker really liked. The shoulder straps have a strap that buckles around the waist so it provides more support and won’t fall of the shoulders. With as much stuff as she packs into this thing, she needs all the help she can get! She loves the pink elephant design but this backpack is also available in 5 other animal designs. It retails for $26.99. HABA is a quality brand that I trust and I know this backpack will hold up really well.
If you have a preschooler, be sure to check out these products — Parker highly recommends them!
