Better Oats Review & Giveaway

I have to admit, I’m kind of lazy when it comes to breakfast.  I’m not a morning person at all and my kids wake up way before I’m ready.  I tend to pour them a bowl of cereal with one eye open and hand them a banana.  I think that passes as a decent breakfast but I still feel a little guilty.  Recently I’ve added another breakfast option that is just as easy but seems much more wholesome (probably because it is!).

• All varieties are made with 100% whole grain oats and are naturally trans-fat and cholesterol free
• All varieties contain ground Flax seeds, which are a natural source of Omega-3 and a good source of fiber
• All varieties are packaged in an innovative built-in measuring cup pouch

I like that last little point best– no fumbling around (with that one eye open) looking for a measuring cup!  July was National Blueberry Month.  In honor of the occasion, we sampled the Better Oats mmm…Muffins Blueberry variety.  Yum!  The kids were happy with a break from the norm and now they even request oatmeal for breakfast!  I feel like I got let off the hook– a quick, easy, healthy breakfast the kids like without having to actually cook.
