Fall and Halloween are such a fun time of the year for kids and parents. Before I had my own children I was a nanny and planned a annual Halloween party for all of the neighborhood kids. One of my favorite parts was planning the menu and turning some of the kids’ favorite foods into spooky versions that would make them giggle. Parents always appreciated the fact that it wasn’t only candy and sweets being served, though we couldn’t resist a few treats as well.
Whether you’re having a Halloween party or just want to make the holiday more fun for your kids, the Betty Crocker Halloween cookbook is full of spooky ideas to make the most of the holiday. The book includes nearly 100 recipes with a full color photo for each of them. From main dishes to desserts and eerily chilling beverages, the Betty Crocker Halloween Cookbook covers it all. In addition to the delicious recipes the book also includes tips for planning a Halloween party, making giftable goodies, a metric conversion chart, nutrition information for each recipe and helpful cooking tips and techniques throughout the book. Some recipes include:
- Bat Wing Dippers
- Cyclopse Eyeballs
- Wart Topped Quesadilla Wedges
- Boneyard Dirt Pops
- Skewered Worms
- And so many more!
