We’ve had some readers express interest in learning about blogging so we’ve decided to make it a weekly series on Mommies with Cents! If you are interested in learning how to start your own blog or to cultivate and grow the one you have, we welcome you to join us!
Today’s question is: Where do I find sponsors to pay me for posts?
When you’ve been blogging for awhile, the sponsors will come to you but there are other ways to get paid for posting sponsored content. A few weeks ago we told you about Social Spark. Today we’d like to introduce you to SponsoredReviews.com which is somewhat similar. SponsoredReviews.com has a button you can post to your blog that alerts potential sponsors to your service. Additionally, SponsoredReviews.com already has potential sponsors as clients that can find you though their SponsoredReviews website.
One thing you should know, regardless of where you find your sponsors, is that it’s the law to disclose that you were compensated for posting the content whether in cash, gift card, free product or service. It can be a simple sentence or two at the top or bottom of your blog post. Some sponsors will provide you with the disclosure they’d like you to use but it’s not a bad idea to create a standard one to have on hand when you need it. This is what we usually use:
A complimentary product/service was provided for this review, however, all opinions expressed are our own. We were not compensated in any other way. See Mommies With Cents disclosure policy for more details.

When Mindy and I started out we had no idea what we were doing. We learned as we went and even though it’s been a few years, there is still so much to learn! We are learning new things all of the time and it’s so much fun! We’ve had help along the way and we want to pay it forward.
