Body & Brain Kinect Game Review & Giveaway

Video games are no longer mindless entertainment for couch potatoes.  The XBox 360 Kinect has revolutionized game play by making video games fully interactive without the use of a controller.  Body and Brain Connection brings the physical aspect together with mental game play.  Rated E for everyone, Body and Brain Connection is fun for everyone regardless of age or skill level.  It features 20 games that include math, logic, reflex, memory and physical exercises.  The game can be played individually or in multiplayer mode where players compete against each other to determine who has the youngest brain age.  The game has the ability to track the progress of individuals or groups so you can view your progress and continue to improve.  Body and Brain Connection by Nameco is the first and only game of it’s kind for the Xbox 360 with Kinect and has been approved by Dr. Kawashima, the originator of the brain training genre.

I’ve always enjoyed brain games and this game was even better with the physical nature of it.  I love how it gets you up and interacting.  My kids especially got a kick out of the game where you try to get a vehicle from one side to the other by matching up roads with your arms:

The Kinect is one of the coolest things we have purchased for our family.  The kids are a bit little for most of the games at 4, 2.5, and 8 months but the Hubs and I like to compete and the kids think it’s fun to watch and laugh at us.  The sensors actually pick up the kids on some of the games and it’s so funny because on the screen it shows a person kneeling on their knees!

Body & Brain Connection is a fun game that works your mind as well as your body!  It retails for around $40 and you must have the Kinect for it to work.
