I recently had a chance to review a new game for the iPhone/iTouch called Bounce It. The game is based on a children’s tale where the main character, Bouncer, falls off the moon and crashes to earth. The goal of the game is to help Bouncer scale his way back to his home on the moon.
Using a trampoline-like string, players must maneuver Bouncer higher and higher by tilting the device from side to side to avoid obstacles and gain power ups which will help him reach his final destination. The strings are generated automatically with each bounce and players must make sure to land on one or risk falling!
I have to admit, I wasn’t any good at this game. I certainly never made it to the moon but it’s a simple and fun game with cute graphics. My three year old likes to try his hand at it but it’s a little hard for him too which at least makes me feel a little better since my husband claims that Jackson knows how to use my phone better than I do!
