The second half of the book is just like traditional baby name books, with a girl section and a boy section, in alphabetical order with origins and meanings. There are over 200 pages of names in this section, plus an appendix of online resources if you didn’t find the perfect name for your baby. It’s the first half of the book, however, that is unique. There are over 150 lists of names from every category you can think of – from “Soap Opera Hunks and Hussies” and “American Idol Finalists” to “Nobel Prize Winners” and “Hockey Hunks”. There are famous names from silver screen legends, sports giants, and music stars, as well as names inspired by nature, scientists, artists, even famous and successful CEOs. It’s a new and fun way to pick a name!
