A few months ago I got a really cool chalkboard wall calendar. I’ve been trying different products to write on it with but none have been ideal. The calendar is actually a wall decal. The texture of the wall behind it can be a bit of a problem — it makes it a little more difficult to write on. I tried some chalk markers I had on hand but they didn’t work very well. Then I tried regular chalk which worked alright but was more difficult to write with in a small area. Then I tried Chalkola markers and found the perfect pairing for my wall calendar!
My favorite is the 10+6 set which includes 10 chalk pens and 6 metallic markers. For March, it was really fun to use metallic markers with the St. Patrick’s Day theme I went with. I was a little worried that the metallic markers wouldn’t be easy to erase from the calendar’s surface but a quick test showed me that a damp paper towel would wipe it right off!
Both the chalk markers and metallic pens are easy to write with and offer vibrant colors. For the chalk marker’s first use you have to press the tip down until the “ink” flows to the tip. The metallic markers are ready to go from the box! Both write exceptionally smoothly for this type of product compared to others I have used before.
I may not be the most artistic but I was happy with the results I got with Chalkola products! Now I just need to find my sticker set so I can update my calendar to 2017! This calendar helps keep our busy family organized and I can be assured that they can actually read it thanks to Chalkola!

These are awesome for writing on windows and mirrors. I like to leave my kids big notes in surprising places for their birthday and these work beautifully. They are also great for car windows. We go to baseball tournaments and it’s fun to write team themed messages on the car windows for when we caravan on roadtrips to the field.

I would like these to keep track of my diabetetic snack times/meals. I would also love that nice calender board you show in the picture if you could have one for that in the future! I’m not on Insulin so have to keep close track of what I eat these & the calender would be great.
