This past week the cold and flu season has hit my family pretty hard. First it was my 6 year old and the minute he got better, my 5 year old got sick. My other daughter and my husband both have coughs and aren’t feeling well. I seem to be the only healthy one! Knock on wood! Luckily, I always have advil on hand to reduce fevers and provide comfort for aches and pains. It’s always worked well for my family and I love that it offers relief that lasts up to 8 hours!
Even when my kids are home sick, they get bursts of energy and need a little something to battle the boredom. Advil’s Activity Center on the Children’s Advil Facebook page provides plenty of ideas to entertain them until they’re on the mend again. You can create a “Play List” with your child and choose activities from 3 categories: Game On, Get Crafty, and Fun Food to add to your list. Health Breaks, Temperature Checks, Rest Time and Drinking Fluids are also added in as reminders. There are a lot of great ideas here for kids of all ages from building a fort or having a tea party to singing songs and looking through family photo albums. One of my favorites from the list is “Finish My Doodle”. I know my kids wll love this one!
