Sometimes very cool ideas just come to us when we least expect them. Jason Foster, a dad an entrepreneur was ironing a shirt one day when he realized that most cleaning products are made up of about 10% ingredients and 90% water inside a disposable bottle. Consumers are paying a lot of money for disposable bottles and water and he came up with a way to change that with a new packaging concept.
CleanPath is a line of cleaning products the come in a sleek, reusable bottles with a pod refill system. Each bottle comes with one refill pod to make 3 full sized products. It is attached at the bottom. To use it, just flip the bottle upside down, squeeze the cleaning concentrate from the refill pod into the measuring cup inside the bottle then fill the rest of the bottle with water. Simple yet genius! Take a look at this video to see it in action:
The CleanPath line consists of:
- Multipurpose Cleaner
- Bathroom Cleaner
- Glass Cleaner
- Foaming Hand Soap
- Foaming Hand Sanitizer
They’re really affordable too! You can find them at over 3000 Walmart stores. I paid around $3.50 for each of the starter bottles I tried. Remember though, each bottle is equal to THREE bottles since the pod it comes with holds enough concentrate to make 3 batches of cleaning solution. Refill pods are even cheaper at around $2.30 per pod making the cost per bottle less than $1!
With CleanPath you are getting more for your money with a lot less waste! I gave these 3 a try and they are good, solid cleaning products. They work as expected and have a pleasant fragrance. My favorite is the foaming hand soap. It’s so nice to have refills ready as soon as you need them! For the hand soap especially, I’d like to see more attractive packaging. There’s nothing really wrong with it currently and it shows you how to use it but I like having pretty hand soap bottles in my bathroom. Other than that, two thumbs up from me on these products and a big high five for coming up with such a smart solution to needless waste!
