Just before Mindy and I started this blog, we scored an awesome deal on some Jane cosmetics and paid just pennies for quite a few items. I picked up some ColorSticks Eye Crayons (which I really like!) When I purchased them, the sales lady at the cosmetics counter told me she had one in every color but was frustrated because she couldn’t get the product to twist up. She said she couldn’t sharpen it because the casing is plastic. When I got home I emailed customer service at Jane Cosmetics to ask about this dilemma as I wasn’t able to twist mine up either. They responded that they carry a special sharpener for the ColorSticks and told me the where to locate it on the display. I went to several stores and was not able to find the sharpener. I contacted customer service again and asked if there was somewhere I could purchase it online as I was unable to find one. They responded that for my trouble, they would mail me one free of charge. I received the package today and not only did they send me TWO sharpeners, they also included one ColorSticks Eye Crayon and one Colorsticks Lip crayon! Moral of the story: Don’t be afraid to contact customer service with any questions or concerns you may have with any product. You never know, you might score some free products or coupons!
