A couple of days ago I picked up a coupon book from McDonalds for $1. It contained 12 coupons for free items (3 each of apple dippers, hamburger, milk jug or apple juice and small ice cream cone. While we try not to eat fast food, sometimes we get caught up while we are out running errands. The coupons in this book are good through the end of the year and using them will make for very cheap on-the-go meals.
Wendys and Burger King have similar coupon books. Wendy’s contains 10 coupons good for a FREE Frosty Jr. They are valid through 11/1/09. Burger King’s contains 8 coupons for a FREE value sized fries. They are valid through the end of the year. The idea behind these is to hand them out to Trick-or-Treaters but if you wish to keep them all to yourself, it’s understandable!

In the southeast Tennessee area the coupons are marked to be redeemed by 12 and under only and they didn't bother telling me that when they sold it to me. Oh Well it's for a great cause but you may want to check your coupons to be sure. My daughter is only 1 1/2 so not sure how many we'll get to redeem.
