Over the past couple of years we’ve enjoyed Dickey’s Barbecue for get-togethers to make dinners super easy and delicious. My daughter’s birthday is in December. It’s always difficult since it’s a busy time of year for everyone. This year we had a family dinner with the help of Dickey’s Holiday Feast and couldn’t have been happier. McKinley was super excited to have prime rib for dinner and was looking forward to picking up the meal with me.
It may have had something to do with the fact that Dickey’s offers free ice cream cones! Yes, we had dessert first!
This bag is filled with fried onion tanglers. We absolutely cannot go to Dickey’s without getting these. They are delicious! We didn’t even wait to eat them with dinner, rather, we called them an “appetizer”. It’s a good thing because we had completely forgotten that we had to heat/cook the food we picked up and it takes a couple of hours.
We followed the directions that came with the Holiday Feast and the prime rib came out perfectly in about an hour and 45 minutes. Honestly, I think this was the best prime rib I have ever eaten. It was delicious!
Our feast also came with a giant pan of green beans with bacon that had a really yummy smokey flavor.
Everyone’s favorite, the baked potato casserole is always a huge hit and seconds are a given. Luckily, there’s plenty to go around!
Cornbread stuffing is also on the menu. I’m not sure if it’s more popular in other parts of the country but we are more used to traditional stuffing so while this is good, it’s not our favorite. The flavor and texture just isn’t quite what we are used to.
Last but not least, the holiday feast comes with a dozen buttery rolls and butter. This really completes the meal which is perfect for the Christmas season or any large get together. It takes the stress out of hosting and keeps all of the guests deliciously fed and happy!
Order your holiday feast today — choose from smoked turkey, cajun fried turkey, spiral cut ham or prime rib with all the fixins. Remember to allow a couple of hours to cook/heat up everything. You’ll have plenty to be thankful for including not having to do the shopping or preparation of so many dishes. It is WELL worth it and I can assure you, you will NOT be disappointed!

There’s a Dickey/s Barb Pit close by me and I have been there…I know its excellent.
I love BBQ, and this place looks super yummy. There is nothing better than fall off the bone meat. Although that soft serve ice cream is looking pretty amazing too (I am detoxing off sugar).
