If you are following along in our Evenflo Jump & Learn ExerSaucer series, this is the third installment. If you missed them, you can see the first one here and the second one here. It’s been a couple of months since our last update but Parker’s feet still don’t reach the floor! She is pretty small for her age but at 7 months old I thought for sure they’d reach by now. We are still using a pillow underneath and with it, she is able to use her feet to twist the seat around a little bit to get to different toys. She is starting to teeth so right now her favorite is the dragonfly with rubber-like wings. She loves to grab ahold of it and massage her gums on it. It’s easy for her to grasp and you can see by the smile on her face in the picture above how much she likes it.
I love the ExerSaucer because it’s a safe place I can put Parker to play. With two older siblings, there are lots of smaller toys that are often on the floor that aren’t safe for babies. While Parker does get some floor time, the ExerSaucer is where she plays most often. It’s nice to have somewhere to put her that I don’t have to keep a constant eye on.
In the next few weeks I’m hoping she’ll grow a little bit so we can remove the pillow and she’ll be able to fully enjoy every aspect of the ExerSaucer. I’m sure she’ll be able to maneuver all the way around in it in no time at all. I’ll keep you posted!
