Fall Sandwich Bar from Schwan’s Review & #Giveaway

 

I often don’t eat breakfast, then get busy and forget to eat lunch. By dinner time I’m so crabby!  Having foods in the house that I love and are fast and easy to fix help me remember to actually eat!  New this fall from Schwan’s are a Grilled Cuban Style Panino and Grilled Southwest Style Chicken Panino which are excellent especially when served with a side of New Crispy Waffle Fries or Loaded Baked Potato Soup.

The Panino sandwiches have two completely different flavors but are both delicious.  I can’t choose a favorite!  The Southwest Style had large chunks of high quality chicken breast, fire roasted vegetables, bacon, cheese and a salsa with a slight zip.  The Cuban on the other hand was more like a deli sandwich with roasted pork and sliced ham topped with mustard, cheese and pickle relish.

Both of these sandwiches are prepared using the microwave to oven method.  You microwave them for a bit in their wrapper then remove them, wrap them in foil and continue cooking in the oven.  They come out perfectly!  My only complaint about this product is that they only come in a 2-pack!

 

Waffle fries are fun for kids, and admittedly, adults. It’s one of my favorite potato styles. Schwan’s Crispy Waffle Fries are a great side for lunches as well as some dinners and a product the entire family will enjoy!

 

 

One of the reasons I love fall so much is because it’s “soup season” and I love soup!  Potato is one of my favorites so Schwan’s Loaded Baked Potato Soup was right up my alley.  I actually ate the soup with crackers for lunch (not with a sandwich) and it warmed me up and filled me up to easily last until dinner without snacking.  It comes in plastic container which technically serves 3 but I finished it off in 2 and enjoyed every bite!
