Awhile back I reviewed FashionPlaytes. They’ve since rebranded and now call themselves FP Girl. They’ve revamped their site and added unixex adult tees and more. They’ve also partnered with Hasbro to launch My Little Pony Studio. Since their original launch they’ve reached almost 200,000 users and 2 million designs! We had the opportunity to pick out some of their new summer fashions:
- The Brette Empire Waste Dress — Pale Yellow Dip Dye
- The Shay – Textured Cotton Romper — Blueberry/Raspberry Dip Dye
We got both in size 6. The dress seemed much bigger than the romper which fit McKinley pretty well (see above). She normally wears a size 5. On the romper we added a sparkly heart design. The dress was embellished with rhinestones. Both were the perfect amount of “bling” for a little girl.
Do you have an aspiring fashionista or designer in your house? They’ll go wild for FP Girl, a website that lets you design your own clothing. Start with a basic item like a shirt or skirt, then customize it however you’d like. Use the design studio to create your a single item or a whole clothing line. First, choose your color or pattern. Add embellishments such as rhinestones, graphics, appliques and/or under layers. You can even add your own custom clothing label. Save it to your collection and you’ll be able to try it on your model so you can see which pieces you’ve designed look best together. Girls ages 5 and up will have a ball designing their “first day of school outfit”. Fashion Playtes prices start at around $12 for a top and go up from there depending on the design options.
This website is a lot of fun and a cool experience for little girls making it a great gift. Whether for a special outfit for back to school or a birthday or Christmas gift, FP Girl is the way to go.

Definitely like the Olivia (the peasant dress) best – too bad it’s in the clearance section! I have a niece who would love it (if it’s available in her size).
