Connected Camps Now Offers Year Round
Minecraft is a very popular video/computer game amongst kids but it is also loved by parents because of it’s educational traits. We live in a world of technology and kids are learning things we never dreamt of. Minecraft helps kids develop coding skills in a collaborative and safe online community moderated by counselors. These skills have value and give kids knowledge that will be useful in their future all while having fun.
Connected Camps help develop tech and Minecraft skills with creative, game-based learning programs varying from in-game coding and engineering to game design and animation. The courses are moderated by instructors using servers to provide kids with a safe online learning environment.
Originally created as a summer camp by three self-proclaimed girl geeks, Connected Camps is now offering year-round courses after the success of two summer seasons with over 3000 campers. These classes make coding and digital arts fun and safe for all kids with week-long classes starting at only $49.
Free Minecraft Online Server
Connected Camps is also now offering a Free Minecraft Online Server which provides a free, moderated Minecraft home base to learn new skills and connect with the Connected Camps community who share a passion for Minecraft. Designed to support kids ages 8-15, these free Mindcraft Kid Club Events not only teach coding, architecture, game design and engineering but they also foster creativity, team work and problem solving.
