As we get back into the swing of things after an unplanned but much needed blogging break, I wanted to tell you about one of the most creative Christmas gifts I received. I loved it because it was frugal, practical and thoughtful.
My grandmother gave us a napkin holder and a package of napkins for each month/holiday of the year plus a pack of white ones for everything in between. We now have napkins for Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Fourth of July, Christmas etc. For months that didn’t have a holiday she bought a seasonal theme. Fall leaves for example. The cool thing about this gift is that you can shop all year and pick up napkins after the holiday on clearance for pennies!
For an extra special touch, you can have your kids make the napkin holder!

Love this idea. For my sister-in-law's bridal shower I gave her bathroom fingertip towels for every holiday. I had been buying them on 50-75% off clearance for over a year and had quite a collection.
Cute idea! My m-i-l would love it.
I love this idea.
Thanks for sharing it.
