Like most married couples, my husband and I wear our wedding rings 100% of the time. We only take them off for cleanings and inspections. The last vacation we went on my husband handed me his ring and told me it was loose and he was afraid he’d lose it. I rarely carry a purse so I didn’t have anywhere to put it and I didn’t want to be responsible for such a small yet expensive item. Luckily we made it home without misplacing or losing his ring.
We are headed to Hawaii next month and this time I am more prepared. Salt water has a tendency to shrink your fingers somehow. I’m not a scientist so I can’t explain this but I know it’s true! Guides on snorkel trips often warn you to put your rings in a safe place before getting into the water. Groove Rings are a great option for those that feel naked without their wedding ring. They are made from breathable silicone which means moisture can escape. They’re super comfortable because they flex and bend. They’re awesome for anyone with an active lifestyle. Whether you’re snorkeling/swimming, working in the yard, playing with kids or working out, Groove Rings are a great options. Priced at $29.95 to $39.95 their inexpensive enough to have replaced should you happen to lose one. Better yet, Groove will actually replace your ring for FREE if you lose it! Now that’s a company that truly stands behind their product and commits fully to great customer service!
Once you try a Groove Ring, you’ll probably want to start collecting them. They come in tons of fun colors and designs. I wear one on my thumb and a set of 3 stackable rings on my right hand. The thumb ring is a limited edition paisley print ring. I adore paisley print so when I saw this ring I knew I had to have it. I had been looking for a thumb ring but was having trouble pinpointing my size for ordering online. Groove offers a number of ways to determine your ring size including using their app. They also offer free exchanges and a “Try 3 Rings for 5 Days” option. You’ll pay just $1.99 for shipping and it includes free return shipping for the rings that don’t work out for you. Groove has an amazing warranty too. Check this out: “NO BS Warranty! If your ring gets damaged, cut, stretched, stuck in nuclear waste, eaten by a fish, or even LOST we will replace it. Our mission is to blow your mind and we’ll go above and beyond to make you happy!”
Here’s a closer look at the stackable rings I mentioned. You get three rings in this set. This set is called “Feather”. The white middle ring has a really pretty feather print to compliment the top and bottom turquoise rings. You can also wear them separately or mix and match with other rings — so versatile! The feather print ring also comes in a wider band size if you prefer.
I got my husband something a little more basic to wear as a wedding ring — the Groove Silicone Wedding Ring in Midnight Black/Raspberry Red. This ring is about the same width as his actual wedding ring so it should feel comfortable as a temporary replacement while we are on vacation.
If you think you might miss the shiny-ness of your gold ring, I suggest one of Groove’s “Pearl” options. This ring is the Groove Thin Silicone Pearl. It has a pearlized look to it which is really pretty. This one was just a little too tight for me but my 10 year old daughter loves wearing it!
Groove breathable silicone rings retail from $29.95 – $39.95, are customizable and are available at www.grooverings.com an

I would love to try these. I don’t wear my ring a lot around the house since i seem to be in water so much that I am afraid it will slip off. I am so cold all the time I feel my regular ring feels loose in the cold months.
