I’ve had my eye on this Fisher-Price Little People Nativity Set for a couple of years now.  I’ve never seen it in stores and I’ve never found a great price on it.  I’ve always wanted a nativity set but we don’t really have a place in our house to display one.  And with three little kids (3, almost 2 and 6 weeks) I think this set would be great for our family.  A fun way to teach the kids about what Christmas really is, something they can play and interact with and that Mommy won’t have to worry about the kids breaking.  It costs around $40.  Have any of you seen a good price on this?  Do you have an similar alternative you can recommend? Do you think this would be worth the splurge?  Let me know by leaving a comment!
UPDATE: Reader Heather let us know: “If you “like” Fisher Price on Facebook, then you qualify for a 20% off discount. Right now the set is $33.00 on the Fisher Price store, so it would bring it down to $26.40 plus shipping.” It’s valid through 11/17.
Thanks, Heather!
UPDATE #2: Of course! Since I FINALLY bought this, the sale I had been waiting for popped up. As I mentioned before, I had never even seen this in a store and now they have it at Target of all places!

If you “like” Fisher Price on Facebook, then you qualify for a 20% off discount. Right now the set is $33.00 on the Fisher Price store, so it would bring it down to $26.40 plus shipping. I think it is a great set and well worth the price. I’m thinking of buying this for my kids as well (2 years and 7 weeks).
Awesome! Thanks for the tip, Heather!
