Growing up I had this little alarm clock that ran on batteries. It had one button that made the face glow when you held it down. I thought it was pretty cool but it’s not nearly as cool as the HomTime C12 Alarm Clock my daughter is now using. This modern alarm clock is loaded with features!
It arrived nicely packaged and secure. It came with an instruction manual that was easy to use which I really appreciated! This alarm clock has 4 button/dials across the top and several more on the back. Having the manual helped me identify what each was for to program the clock and to use it’s functions.
The large LCD display has 4 brightness levels so it can be dimmed to suit your personal needs. The front of the clock features 2 USB ports so you can charge your devices overnight.
My daughter LOVES music so this alarm clock is great for her. She can plug her iPod into it using the AUX-in Jack, play music via bluetooth from her tablet or make a playlist on a MicroSD card. Of course, it also has FM radio.
Though she won’t be using this feature, this clock has hands free bluetooth calling with a built in mic and portable speaker.
My girl is an early riser all on her own accord so she also isn’t using the alarm clock portion just yet. It has 3 music play modes so you can wake up to the music you love. The snooze feature allows you to get an additional 9 minutes of rest up to 6 times. Once she gets to middle school and will need to get up earlier the alarm will come in handy.
One of my personal favorite features of the alarm clock is the indoor thermometer which displays the temperature. I’ve never seen this on an alarm clock before!
Our power tends to go out several times per year during storms. I love that this clock has battery back up and memorizes the settings so I won’t have to reset the clock every time!
