I love creative toys that keep my kids entertained. I’ve found that having a good selection of activity type toys that I can put into rotation really helps our day go smoother. Working from home while taking care of my kids isn’t always easy so I really appreciate the little things that my kids can do quietly either together or on their own.
The imagine i CAN tins by The Manhattan Toy Company are some of our favorite products. I love that they come in colorful, portable tins so we can take them anywhere. The latest one added to our collection is the Character Mix-Up magnetic play set. It comes with 101 magnetized pieces and 4 paper background scenes. Kids can use the pieces to create endless characters and fun scenes. The backgrounds fit right in the inside of the tin box to create a play space for the magnets to stick on the scenery.
As you can see, all three of my kids enjoy this set. The three of them were able to play nicely with it together but it’s better suited to 2 “players” if you have the space or one if space is limited. You can put a scene in each of the two compartments so kids can play side by side. I put the pieces in a little dish and it worked perfectly. For one player, the pieces can just be set in one side and the scene in the other.
