what happens in the case of an overage with Kmart? (New to couponing, sorry!)

I am not 100% sure because I have not had that happen. They will either adjust the coupon down or give you the overage. It may depend on the store though. One time I went to Target and the cashier wouldn’t let me use the coupon because it was over the value. I knew that wasn’t correct, but I wasn’t going to bicker over $1. So, unfortunately if you get a cashier that won’t let you do it, it’s up to you to call a manager over, not make the purchase, or just make the purchase and smile as you do. 🙂
