Luna Ball Review & Giveaway

When I was pregnant with my first child I bought an exercise ball upon recommendation from the instructor at our birthing class.  It is supposed to help in the days leading up to and including labor by easing pressure and discomfort while aligning the pelvis to help bring the baby down.  After the baby is born, the ball is still quite useful. Bouncing the baby on the ball is soothing and once they are ready to practice “tummy time”, the ball is an excellent tool.  Now there is a product made specifically for these uses that is not only cuter, but safer as well.  The Bounce-a-Bye Baby Ball comes in 3 adorable color/designs- green frog, pink butterfly and blue puppy.  A stabilizing base is an added safety feature that standard exercise balls do not have and provides a safe secure place to bounce a fussy or colicky baby.

I received this ball for my review before my third child was due.  The ball is super cute with a soft bounce.  It was easy to inflate with the provided pump and the stabilizing base just snaps together.  The ball was a bit smaller than the exercise ball that I had used with my first pregnancy and since I’m on the tall side I found the ball to be a little too close to the ground for my comfort.  Now that I’ve had my baby I can’t wait to use the ball for tummy time.  It will be great for helping to strengthen her neck.  She is already starting to lift her little head on her own so tummy time is just around the corner!  Sitting on the ball while holding her and bouncing a little is fun too!
