I remember being a little girl and wanting to wear my mom’s makeup.  Now that I have two little girls of my own I can understand their interest in my cosmetics even when I don’t appreciate them getting into it without asking.  I personally prefer mineral makeup to keep my skin healthy and was happy to discover a mineral makeup line made specifically for little girls.

Even if you don’t let your little girl play with makeup on a regular basis, Halloween might be an exception.  Whether it’s for everyday dress-up or a special occasion you’ll want products that are safe.  Luna Star makeup kits are a mom-made collection of mineral cosmetics designed specifically for little girls.  The all-natural ingredients are safe and offer a healthier alternative than many other cosmetics lines.  The Queen Fairy set is perfect for your little princess, ballerina, or fairy.  The kit contains:

• 2 Mineral eye shadows (Tutu Blue and Moonlight White)

My oldest daughter, McKinley had SO much fun with this makeup set.  She’s being a cat for Halloween so probably doesn’t really need makeup but being a “pretty kitty” is infinitely more fun for a 3 year old.  The eye shadows and blush are very subtle with some shimmer.  The lip glosses smell great and I love that they actually have some color to them rather than being more like a Chapstick.  I’d use them myself if McKinley would share!   The nail polish is very sheer— a little bit more color in these would have been nice.  Overall, the Luna Star makeup set is perfect for girls who are interested in experimenting with cosmetics.
