I have personally used an ENERGY STAR washer and dryer for my family’s laundry for several years now and I love all of the features, and of course the savings! The front loading machines don’t use an agitator so it’s gentler on clothing. Both the front loader and the new advanced top-load machines use a lot less hot water and energy during the wash cycle. The high spin speeds are super efficient at extracting water which drastically reduces drying time. Win-win!
