With the help of Coca-Cola we were able to surprise grandpa with a bag of goodies which included his favorite beverage in glass bottles and nostalgic holiday packaging. As soon as my youngest saw the gift bag, she new she wanted to give it to grandpa. He recently had shoulder surgery and has been out of work recovering so he needed a little something to brighten his day. As a Coca Cola fan myself, I know there’s nothing better than an icy cold coke in a glass bottle, especially when it comes in holiday packaging! I think grandpa would agree.
This year, Coca-Cola brough back the classic Santa Claus fans have known and loved since 1931. This iconic Haddon Sundblom Santa was created for Coca-Cola and has served as a symbol of the true holiday spirit for more than 80 years! You’ll see him on Coca-Cola products throughout the season.
My youngest is a pro at making people happy. Her smile melts hearts and her sweet, outgoing personality makes strangers smile on a daily basis. I couldn’t think of a better person to deliver this fun Coca-Cola gift. When grandpa stopped by Parker couldn’t contain her excitement as she handed the heavy bag over saying “Grandpa! Grandpa! It’s your favorite!” In addition to the Coca-Cola, this gift bag included a cozy blanket and a candle perfect for grandpa’s rest and relaxation important for his recovery. It also came with a “Cooking with Coke” board book with lots of interesting recipes great for browsing while hunkered down with the blanket.
How do you open your heart and spread happiness during the holidays and beyond? Lavish gifts aren’t always the key to happiness. Generosity comes in many shapes – with your time, money, attention, patience, love and laughter. Small gestures can be really meaning full and have a tremendous impact on others.
