I love trying new makeup and recently got to try two products from a brand I’d never tried before — Merle Norman Cosmetics. Browsing around their website I found a ton of items I’d love to try! For starters though I tried the Shadow Stick and Wicked Lash Mascara. I love shadow sticks because they are super easy to use. This one is better than any I’ve tried because the color has super staying power! It is actually a little hard to wash off. You can layer it with powder shadows or wear alone. These shadow sticks are available in 10 matte and luminous shades. The one I tried is a gorgeous reddish plum shade called Mystic. It is a luminous shade which gives it some sparkle. I just wear a swipe on my upper and lower lash lines. This color is my favorite because it brings out green eyes.
The photo above is a before photo and an after photo using just the shadow stick and mascara. The award winning Wicked Lash Mascara has an oversized brush and Arch Fiber Technology that adds volume, length and curl. The formula contains peptides and Panthenol to condition the lashes and keep them flexible. One coat gets the job done!
This is a quick and easy everyday look that I love! It only takes a few minutes to make my eyes pop! I look more awake and I feel a lot prettier using these two products. I can’t wait to try some others!

I love giving my skin a good scrub at least once a week. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth! I also agree, this product is perfect for sloughing away any dry skin before applying a sunless tanner. If you don’t exfoliate you’ll get dark spots and not an even application of color.
