This is one of my favorite cookie recipes this time a year because you can usually score some pretty decent deals on bags of Snickers mini candy bars for Halloween. I think this recipe originally called for Snickers Bites but I used bars instead and now there’s no turning back! They are sooo good! So good in fact, you should probably at least double this recipe!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 t salt
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1 bag miniature Snickers bars
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl combine sugar, brown sugar, margarine, peanut butter, vanilla and egg. Mix well. In another bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Mix well. Shape dough around entire Snickers bar. Place on a greased cookie sheet about 4 inches apart. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Cool on Sheet.
Please share one of YOUR favorite recipes on your blog then come back here and leave your name and a link below. I know I could use some new recipes so this should be a nice way for all of us bloggers to share what works for our families!

I’ll admit, I’m double dipping with a post I did last week for a recipe swap on another site, but it’s a great recipe that I wanted to share with everyone.
