My sister-in-law always has the best recipes that I steal from her after she feeds us. When my daughter was born last October she brought us Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and it was soooo good! Here’s the recipe:
8 oz cream cheese (1 box)
4 oz butter (1 cube)
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup whipping cream
minced garlic- I use about 1 1/2 Tbsp of the jarred kind
1 box fettuccine noodles
cooked & chopped chicken if desired
Melt cream cheese and butter together. Add whipping cream and Parmesan cheese and heat until warm and blended. Add garlic.
Cook noodles according to box. Drain. Add sauce (& chicken). Enjoy!
For me, this recipe rivals Olive Garden’s and it’s so easy too! (we won’t talk about the fat content).

Oh yeah, that looks yummy! BUT like you said -the fat.
This is what I do and it is still very tasty!
I skin about 5 chicken breasts and cook in a pan with onion, salt and some water -till tender. About 2 hours-simmer. Remove chicken to cool.
Now in another pan I make white sauce with about 3 or 4 T. of butter, and then when melted add some flour and cook and make sure it has no lumps, then add some 1% milk till thickened. Now I strain the chicken broth and pour it into the white sauce and stir. (Make sure it isn’t too thin.) Now I add some Parm cheese to taste. I remove chicken from the bone and add to my sauce and serve over noodles.
Just thought I would put this out there for others who want a slimmed down version.
Of course, yours does look exceptionally great!

Thanks for the great alternative carol! Yours sounds much healthier. I’ll have to try it- my hubby will appreciate it!
