Barron’s never disappoints when it comes to craft and activity books. Our family has enjoyed many titles over the past few years and we’ve gifted many different books as well, always to the delight of the recipient! I love that I can find books that are perfectly fitting. Take this Rubik’s Puzzles book for example. My 10 year old son loves Rubik’s Cube, solving puzzles and math games. This book combines all of those things and will make the perfect addition to his Easter basket! Here’s more about the book from Barron’s:

Here’s a sample page from the book with two different puzzle challenges. The first page is a grid puzzle. The facing page is a math problem — “figure out the value of the red square”. This book could not be a better fit for my son!
And since my kids are nothing alike, this Enchanted Fairy Forests book has nothing to do with math and everything to do with creativity! My oldest daughter LOVES craft projects and the ones included in this book are super cute!
This page makes a trinket box. I have a feeling that after McKinley makes this one, she will try to duplicate it on her own.
This page makes an adorable fairy house. These projects are easy enough for her to do on her own (she’s 9) and will keep her busy for hours! The Enchanted Fairy Forests book contains over 24 paper crafts and 150 stickers to complete the projects.
