Is your family crazy about ice? Mine is to the point that there have actually been fights about it! “Who used all the ice?!” Our refrigerator’s ice maker often can’t keep up with our family of five’s ice consumption. I like iced coffee in the morning and my kids use ice in their morning smoothies. This depletes our ice supply as soon as we begin our day! We all love ice water and by the time afternoon sports roll around, there’s often not enough ice left for everyone’s water bottles and people start getting cranky.
Luckily, we’ve recently resolved this issue. NewAir sent me a complimentary Countertop Ice Maker and it’s been a game changer! Did you know that a batch of ice can be made in just 8 minutes? I didn’t think this was physically possible but it is! It’s pretty amazing.
The NewAir Countertop Ice Maker not only makes ice super fast but it looks good while doing it! It comes in three stylish colors including bright white, classic black and stainless steel. We have stainless steel appliances in our kitchen but the black ice maker fits in best with our countertop space. The compact design doesn’t take up too much counter space — only about 1 square foot.
The NewAir countertop ice maker is super easy to use. Just fill to the line with water, power it on, select large or small ice and within minutes you’ll have your first batch of ice. It comes with a removable ice basket and an ice scoop — these and all other parts of the ice maker are BPA free so the ice will be safe for consumption.
Currently we use our ice maker in our kitchen but I love that it’s portable. We can use it outside when we have a barbecue or take it along with us when we go camping for a practically endless supply of ice. With a new batch every 8 minutes it will make 33 pounds of ice per day! There are two indicator lights on the front of the machine. One will tell you when it’s time to add more water. The other one lets you know when the ice machine is full. The machine automatically turns off when it runs out of water.
This ice maker isn’t a freezer so the ice slowly melts when it isn’t used. The water just drains back down into the reservoir and is used to make another batch so the ice never runs out unless the machine runs out of water. It’s so nice to always have ice! If you need a really large amount of ice you can always transfer the ice cubes to your kitchen freezer in batches to save up. We might do this when we need a lot of ice for our cooler for baseball and softball tournaments. The machine makes the ice so fast it wouldn’t take long to get enough ice and we won’t have to run out to the store and buy a bag.

Co-worker/Neighbor/BFF has this ~ it’s fantastic! Truly would love one myself; I keep our ice in a large tupperware container and make it in a tray.

This is the first time I have heard about the NewAir Portable Countertop Ice Maker. This would be great when we go camping in the RV. We have a large crowd and never enough ice!
This would be great, we have iron in our water so we don’t make ice with tap water. We use store-bought and make ice in trays. I have medical problems and use ice for numerous things from easing nausea to aches and pains. This would make my life so much easier. Thanks for the chance, I have wanted one for so long.
