NurturMe Baby Food Review & Giveaway

When it comes time to start feeding your baby solids, you’ll probably want to make sure what you are feeding them is the best of the best. NurturMe is a new twist on baby food.  Not only is it extremely convenient, it’s also very healthy.  NurtureMe is quick-dried organic fruits or veggies sourced from farms in the USA that are quick dried, powdered and packaged in pouches.  Add water, breastmilk or formula and mix to create a puree to your desired consistency.  Containing more nutritional value than cooked, heat-pasteurized foods, NuturMe also leaves a smaller carbon footprint than jarred foods and has a 24 month shelf life. NurturMe is 100% all natural, organic and gluten free.   It doesn’t contain any added sugar, salt or preservatives.  The lightweight pouches that NurturMe are packaged in are great for travel and easy to prepare.  Each pouch yields around 2.5 oz of prepared food. Sold in boxes of 8 pouches in a variety of different flavors, NurturMe retails for around $10 per box.

The pouches are pretty convenient.  It’s nice not to have to carry heavy and breakable jars in the diaper bag.  Since all you need is water to mix it up you can make it any time, anywhere. It mixes up smooth and flavorful.  I actually tried the apples and they were good. The powder had a bit of a “dried” smell so I was skeptical.  My one year old ate it right up.  The cool thing about this powdered formula is that you can add it to other foods to pack a nutritional punch for older kids who may be picky eaters.  You can find more information including recipes using NurturMe at www.NurturMe.com.
