For awhile I was really into essential oils and used them a lot. Now most of the time they just sit on a shelf in my closet. It’s not that I don’t like them or believe in their benefits, because I do! I just need to find simple ways to incorporate them back into our lives. One of the coolest ways I’ve recently discovered is the Oasis Shower Diffuser.

The Oasis Shower Diffuser runs on 3 AA batteries. I love how the battery compartment is held closed with three tabs. I don’t need a screwdriver to replace the batteries! Mounting the unit was super easy. All I had to do was peel off the backing to the mounting bracket and stick it where I wanted it. Then the diffuser unit just slides into place on the bracket.
Since I typically shower in the morning I choose uplifting oils for my shower diffuser. They are very different oils but both do their job of helping me wake up and feel energized. Grapefruit is one of my favorite oils. The citrus scent smells amazing and puts me in the best mood. I also love peppermint. It makes me feel alive! You can run each oil separately or both together by adjusting the on/off control above each bottle. While I love both of these oils, I don’t care for them mixed so I just choose the one I want each morning.
Luckily, it’s pretty easy to switch out the oils. I might decide I want to take a relaxing shower before bed. In that case, I might want to diffuse lavender. The diffuser fits 5ml, 10ml and 15ml bottles. You just have to pop the little drop dispenser cap off your bottle of essential oil and insert the rubber fitting with a diffuser stick, both which come with your Oasis Shower Diffuser. Then screw it into the unit.
Just push the power button to start your diffuser. It will run for 8 minutes and automatically shut off. Oils are great for making you feel making you feel better whether it’s helping your relax, uplifting your mood or even making you feel physically better. If you’re feeling a little under the weather with a stuffy nose, try diffusing eucalyptus to help you breathe a little easier.
