I remember when I was back in elementary school P.E. class. There were a couple of things we always looked forward to on P.E. days — roller boards and parachute time. The parachute was my absolute favorite. I had all but forgotten how much fun it was until I got the opportunity to review a Playchute from Pacific Play Tents. I knew my kids would love it as much as I had and I couldn’t wait to play it with them!
This particular parachute is 10 feet in diameter. It’s quite a bit smaller than the one I remember but for home use, it’s really the perfect size! There are 12 handles so plenty enough room for all the neighbor kids to grab on and join in the fun! The bright orange, lime, purple and yellow are so cheerful and remind me of a circus tent. The Playchute comes with a lime green carry bag to fold up and store your parachute when playtime is over. I love that it came with it so I didn’t have to think about how to store it. Plus, it makes it super portable. My kids like taking it to barbecues, to the beach etc. and it’s small and light enough to bring along!
Our weather has been great so we’ve been enjoying playing with the Playchute out in the yard. The awesome thing is, it’s actually a great indoor too if you have a big enough space to play with it in. Our living room is plenty big enough! The kids like to put a tennis ball on top and shake it up like popcorn. They also like to take turns running underneath it. It’s fun to watch the creative ways they find to use it!
