I love kitchen gadgets that make things easier. Pampered Chef is all about creating beautiful, delicious dishes with ease. I recently had the opportunity to review a couple of items and just as expected, I was pleased with them.
Utility Knife — We have knife block in our kitchen but most of the knives are dull. They get used for things like opening packages and other non-kitchen jobs that they shouldn’t be used for. The Pampered Chef Utility Knife can be kept in a drawer so we won’t be as tempted to use it as a tool. It comes with a protective storage cover to help keep it sharp. The size of the knife is perfect for so many uses but I especially like it for slicing fruit. The blade is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel and covered in a non-stick coating. The handle fits nicely in your hand and is comfortable to use. The blade is 12 cm long.
Scoop & Drain — I’ve never seen this tool anywhere other than Pampered Chef but I love it. It’s super handy and can even be used instead of a colander. It’s perfect for scooping ground meat from skillets, removing hard boiled eggs or ravioli from water and even fried foods straight from the cooking oil since it is heat resistant to 428 degrees! The holes in the durable nylon allow the liquid to drain quickly making this a great tool for many uses. The Scoop & Drain is dishwasher safe.
