Before I had kids I was a big fan of Partylite. For safety reasons, I put away most of my candles and breakable items or moved them out of reach after my first child was born but I still love Partylite. They have a beautiful selection of high quality candles, decorative items and ways to scent your home. Partylite products make excellent housewarming gifts as well as birthday, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day gifts. I was given the opportunity to try out a couple of products that are new for 2011:
Reed Diffuser Bottle and Fragrance Oil — Stylish square glass bottle with brushed metal collar adds a splash of vibrant color to any room in the house. Available in eight colors and nine fragrances. $29.95 includes reeds and choice of fragrance oil.
I think reed diffusers are great because you can get scent without a flame. Even though the reeds are housed in in a glass bottle, sort of like a vase, it can be put up on a shelf out of reach of little hands you’ll get the fragrance benefits of a candle without the risk of fire. I love how many choices are available for the reed diffuser! There’s sure to be a color and scent just about anyone will love.
Perfect for gift giving or treating yourself to is the Forbidden Fruits Gift Car candle. It’s beautifully packaged in a cylinder shaped box and the jar’s glass design gives it a luxurious feeling. The Forbidden Fruits Gift Jar Candle which has a burn time of 40-60 hours, as well as large tealights are available in the following scents:
Passion Fruit — An exotic and effervescent blend of sun-ripened passion fruit, wild island berries and sparkling champagne. Its luscious ripe scent arouses the senses.
Perfect Pear — Anjou pear and crisp delicious apple are layered with creamy vanilla and juicy red berries in this succulent fragrance.
Apple Allure – As tempting as the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, juicy apple is mingled with sparkling fruits, flirtatious florals and provocative musk for a deep, flavorful scent.
Fig Fatale — This irresistible blend of sensual fig, succulent fruits and velvety vanilla is deliciously rich. Fall under fig’s captivating spell.
Plum Pleasure — Sweet, plump plums, black cherries and red raspberries are warmed with notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Give in to your passion.
I’m not a huge fan of fruity scents but the Apple Allure smells A-MA-ZING! This candle doesn’t have any problem scenting a large room. The Gift Jar sells for $24.95; Large tealights 4 pack sells for $10.95.

I entered, but wanted to leave a comment if that is okay. I too sadly put away all the candles when my son was born, and even though he’s five, with cats, dogs and him, I’m afraid to burn anything. I use an electric tart burner though, it works great!
Of course! It’s always okay to comment! I love tart warmers but I’m afraid of the wax getting spilled.
