It’s Christmas break! Are you going crazy yet with the kids at home, excited and filled with energy? Kids need a variety of things to do to keep them busy. For us that includes active/outdoor play, screen time and cooperative play. All three of my kids love their screen time and I don’t blame them! There are so many fun apps and games these days! I recently downloaded Puzzingo for my youngest and it’s her new favorite. I’m not surprised — it’s the top ranking kids puzzles app and has been downloaded over 8 million times! It’s super fun but it also has educational elements to help children develop spacial recognition, matching, tactile and fine motor skills. It has won several awards including: Dr. Toy’s 10 Best Children’s products, Editor’s Choice, Best Apps for Kids and 5 out of 5 by Apps for Homeschooling.
Puzzingo highlights include:
-
Over 100 beautifully illustrated learning puzzles
-
While playing puzzles, kids learn vocabulary in one of five different languages
-
Over 60 mini-games that complement the “fantasies of play” for many of the puzzles
- Perfect for bilingual parents, or foreign parents who want their kids to learn English
-
Carefully designed and tested to be accessible for kids 5 years old or younger, and for children with special needs
-
Puzzles cover popular children’s themes including: dinosaurs, pets, cars, fairies, space, and more
Some new features for the 2017 Holidays include:
- Trucks Puzzles packs that contains many of children’s favorites – fire trucks, monster trucks, snow
trucks, construction trucks, and more. - A Toys puzzle pack just in time for the holidays.
- Classics Puzzles Pack that includes some of the most popular puzzles from the Puzzingo Archives -from steam train, jets, to bugs.
These puzzle games are really fun for young children. They open a present — inside is a puzzle piece. They find where it goes and drag it to it’s proper place on the screen. More pieces follow until the puzzle is complete They learn so much along the way increasing their vocabulary and learning numbers etc. This app is available in several languages and it’s easy for parents to switch between them.
This app was designed for children ages 5 and younger but my 7 year old still loves it. Switching the language to Spanish makes it much more challenging and changes the learning dynamic giving the game another fun use! Kids can get a jump on learning a second language while playing Puzzingo!
There is so much content available in Puzzingo including super fun mini-games after completing each puzzle. Kids could play Puzzingo for a long time without running out of fun new adventures. You can see the game in action on YouTube here. Download it today so your kids have something to play over winter break!

Looks like a fun app. It is super cold where I live so this might be a perfect cold day activity.
thanks! i’ve been looking for a great app for my kids to use!
This is a great app! And no kids are playing outside this whole weekend, below zero weather. They need games like this that are stimulating and fun!
