My daughter McKinley is just 18 months in this picture but she looks SO grown up, like she’s ready for her first day of school! I’m not ready for her to be that grown up yet but I love this picture, partly because of her pretty smile and cute red pigtails and party because of the outfit. We received this three piece outfit from Applebottoms. It is a size 3T and fits her perfectly. That in itself gained this outfit high marks in my book. Because she’s a little bigger all over than most kids her age, but an average height, most things like skirts and pants are too long for her and look silly. This denim skirt with a pretty ruffled detailed edge was just the right length and had enough fabric at the top that it could be pulled up a little higher at the waist, adjusting the length of the skirt. The V-neck tee shirt with extra detail around the neck line and the short sleeved zip-up jacket paired with the skirt all look absolutely adorable together. Now that I have been introduced to this brand name, it’s something I will certainly keep my eye out for when shopping for my kids.
