Cetaphil is launching a new product next month and I was given the opportunity to review it before it’s release. Skin care is important to me and Cetaphil is a brand that I respect so I jumped at the chance. We should all be wearing SPF daily, especially on our face since it the most exposed part of our body. It’s the dead of winter here in Seattle and I can’t remember the last time I saw the sun but I know it is still important to protect my skin.
While I didn’t even plan on leaving the house today, I couldn’t wait to try this new product. I usually hate how thick and gooey moisturizers that contain SPF are but I was impressed with this one. Even now at the end of the day my face doesn’t feel greasy. I love the fact that it is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and fragrance-free. It is lightweight and soaks in so that makeup can be worn over it.
Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 5o comes in a 1.7 oz tube that will retail for $13.99. It is suitable for those with acne, rosacea, melasma and other skin conditions where a hydrating formula with SPF is recommended. This product and the rest of the Cetaphil collection of cleansers and moisturizers are available at major retail, grocery, drug and discount stores nationwide. It is also available online at drugstore.com.
