Yesterday was National Play-Doh day. To celebrate, I introduced my two year old to the fun world of Play-Doh for the first time. I received a Play-Doh Burger Builder for this review and while the box states that the recommended age is 3+, I was too excited to wait (my son isn’t even 2 1/2 yet). As expected, he loved it and spending this one on one time with him was so much fun.
Turns out, the Burger Builder was perfect for first timers. Each piece of the burger- bun, hamburger, lettuce, pickles, onion and tomato are made with a press and mold. Each mold snaps into the burger press and all you have to do is roll some doh into a ball, put it under the press and pull the handle. Jackson loved “squishing” each piece and putting it on a plate for Daddy. Making fries is really easy too. Just load some doh into the fry maker and crank the handle. It slices and spits out fries super fast.
I don’t think Jackson quite understood that it wasn’t real food. We made a game out of putting it away but he really didn’t want to give up the pickles!
The Play Doh Burger Builder retails for $15.99. Find out where to buy one here.
