I keep an essential oil diffuser next to my bed and I have another one on a shelf in the hallway. These are great for everyday use where they are but they aren’t the best for moving to other areas of the house when I need them. Occasionally I need a diffuser in my kid’s rooms when they have colds or are having trouble sleeping. Since my diffusers use water they have to be emptied before moving from one area to the next and it’s hard to do that without sloshing the water. They also use a wall outlet which aren’t always easily reached making it a little bit of a pain to move them when a need arises, especially if it’s in middle of the night.
Roama is a new portable diffuser that doesn’t use water. You just insert your standard size 10ml bottle of oil into the unit and it releases the oil into the air in its purest, undiluted form. Some diffusers use heat which alters the chemical structure of the oil which can limit its health benefits. The water also dilutes it. Roama’s patented design doesn’t require heat OR water so it preserves its natural state as well as its therapeutic benefits.
Roama comes with a USB charger, a tool that assists in removing the dropper caps from essential oil bottles and currently also includes two bottles of essential oil for a limited time. The Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils are both staples in my opinion. Eucalyptus is great for congestion and peppermint is good for headaches and much more!
One of the ways I love using Roama is in my car. I had been searching for a good option and this is definitely the best I’ve found. The diffuser is small enough to fit in the cup holder and I’ve found certain oils to really come in handy while driving. Peppermint is really good for staying alert while driving at night. I find lime oil or any other citrus oil to help reduce stress which I really need when all three of my kids are in the car. I have a USB plug in in my car so I can charge it whenever I need to. A full charge can last up to 80 hours depending on use. You can choose from three different levels — low, medium and high. High is best for larger spaces like a bedroom or office while the low and medium are perfect for smaller spaces like the car.
