Where would I be without a play yard? I have used one with all 3 of my children. They sleep in the play yard for the first couple of months in our bedroom. We had the luxury of trying a Safety 1st Play Yard to review. Since we already had play yards, I am going to take this one to my in-laws as they don’t have anything for our babies to sleep in. We’ve always traveled with our play yard (which is a great feature), but now we don’t have to pack ours up anymore!
The Safety 1st Play Yard is so nice. It is very easy to assemble. It only takes a moment to pull it out of the great carrying case, unroll it and “pop” it open. It comes with a bassinet part where little babies can lay, but the bassinet part is easily taken away and the mattress is lowered in the bottom to make a playpen. There is even storage on the side for diapers, wipes, etc… We store a bunch in ours since the baby is still in our room. Lastly, it comes with a changing table that is great so you don’t have to break your back when bending over to change a diaper.
The Play Yard is an item that we could not live without and is a must for any parent. Safety 1st offers some great different designs and styles so you can choose one that fits your needs. The Safety 1st Play Yard sets run about $90-$100. It is worth every penny too!
