It might seem a little strange to most people, but we brush our teeth in the kitchen — as a family! There’s a lot more room in the kitchen than the bathroom with a bigger sink too. We keep our toothbrushes on top of the microwave which is on the counter next to the sink. The kids like to pull a chair over to the sink so they can get their own drink of water afterwards. Our oldest two who are 4 and 2.5 watch each other and compete for who does the best job. Every so often I pop the toothbrushes in the dishwasher for a cleaning! While it may not be the traditional toothbrushing area, it works for us!
Do you have any non-traditional family activities? Something other people might find a little odd? Who knows! They might think your way is the savvy way. Please share your ideas by leaving a comment!

Reading your post makes my giggle….not totally in a good way, but not totally in a bad way. It is my biggest pet peeve (soon to be a new post) that my husband chooses to brush his teeth in the kitchen sink. It drives me NUTS! In a koo koo kind of way. I wash my dishes in that sink, I put my hands in that sink and half the time he doesn’t even rinse the sink out! I am glad that it is working for you and your family, maybe you can come here and teach my husband some lessons on cleaning up his spit when he’s done!! 🙂
