Sign up with Shadow Shopper and start making $150 a week or more! I always thought this would be really fun but sort of hard to do with three little kids in tow! Has anyone had any luck with these types of programs?
I have been a mystery shopper with about 20 different companies for over a decade. It does not pay great money – I do it for free meals, discounts at the grocery store, and the occasional oil change or free product. For the most part, the time spent on the write-ups is pretty exhausting considering the pay (say 1 hour write up, plus the actual shop, and you get a whopping $5-7). However, I got free food through college this way, and now that I have quite a history with these companies, I get a few good perks – like hotel stays and high-end restaurant meals. Many shops do not let you bring children, too, so take that into consideration.
