Last week I shared with you one of my favorite products for spring cleaning. Another must-have for cleaning all year round is the Shark Rocket Powerhead. This lightweight yet powerful vacuum offers impressive results and I love all the features this vacuum boasts!
The Shark Rocket Powerhead weighs a total of nine pounds and less than one pound in hand making it super easy to maneuver. If you’ve got a combination of hard flooring and carpet in your home like I do you’ll love the interchangeable roller brush. It’s really easy to switch from one brush to the other and the fact that it comes out makes it really easy to clean too. With three long-haired girls in our house, this is a must!
The Gentle Touch Hard Floor Brush roll helps get hardwood, tile and linoleum flooring cleaner than vacuuming without a brush at all which is what most vacuums offer (to turn the brush off). This super soft brush won’t damage your flooring but helps sweep up small particles into the vacuum. The brush that you aren’t using fits into a little compartment strapped right to the side of the vacuum so it’s always handy when you need it.
The dust compartment and motor are both in the head of the vacuum which reduces airflow and maximizes power and efficiency. The dust bin lifts off for easy and mess-free emptying. This is really nice, especially if you’re allergic to dust like I am. Another one of my favorite features that I haven’t seen in any other vacuums is that the handle is adjustable so you can find what’s comfortable for you (or your kids!!) and it also makes for more compact storage.
I’ve been using a cordless for quite awhile and wasn’t sure I’d like going back to a corded vacuum. The Rocket has an extra long cord so it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. I was able to vacuum quite a large space without losing power or having to switch outlets.
