Shopping Nanny Review & Giveaway

Have you ever wanted a place to go to that is all-in-one and easy to combine all of your shopping needs?  Check out Shopping Nanny.  Shopping Nanny combines sales, coupons, special offers, and store specials to often double, triple or even quadruple your savings.

How Shopping Nanny works:

1. Tell her your favorite stores, then enter any loyalty cards you have for those stores. Your Shopping Nanny will ‘deposit’ electronic coupons on your loyalty card so you don’t have to carry them around. (If your store doesn’t use electronic coupons, you will still get great deals, but you may have to print your coupons.)
2. Start shopping for grocery deals right away or add more info to your profile. Your Shopping Nanny can save you more time and more money if you add your household preferences. How much you save is up to you.
3. Print out your shopping list (or have it sent to your phone) and go to the store. Swipe your loyalty card to use the electronic coupons, or present your print coupons, and get ready to save!

We were given a free trial of Shopping Nanny and although it is not readily available in my area except I could see Target and KMart, it sounds as if it could be a great tool once it is more established.  I know that at times it can take me awhile to get my grocery store deals together.  I have to look for all of the coupons after I have figured out what I want to buy and what is a great deal.  Then, I will have to add coupons to my loyalty card.  Whew.  With Shopping Nanny, many of those steps can be taken away.  Shopping Nanny will find the deals that appeal to you after you just plug in some information on stuff you like to buy and about your household.  Your information is never sold.  The service is only $5.95/month and could possibly save you a piece of mind.

All-in-all it sounds like a great concept, but it’s hard for me to test it to its fullest extent since only two stores are offered in my area right now and that’s just with manufacturer coupons and not the store promotions.
