We always try to get our kids something for Christmas that will keep them active outdoors. They are all very active in team sports but whenever we have down time at home they get bored. A new Skitch Skateboard will definitely perk the interest of my youngest daughter. Skitch Skateboard’s mission is to bring the best beginner skateboards to families like mine and in my opinion, they’ve really done an excellent job doing just that!
From the packaging to the features, Skitch Skateboards has thought of everything to make their product the best beginner skateboard on the market. The board comes in a reusable drawstring bag instead of of a wasteful box. Unlike any other skateboard, this one comes with a custom design skateboard backpack so you can take your skateboard everywhere you go!
The backpack has a really sleek design that fits on the board. It’s easy for kids to take on and off and makes it easy for them to carry when they aren’t boarding. The ends of the backpack fit over the nose and tail of the board and it velcros around the middle.
The bottom side features a velcro pouch that holds the tools you might need to help control the speed. That’s another awesome feature of this skateboard. It comes with “Speed Caps” which are essentially 4 metal washers that can be placed over the wheel bearing to limit the speed of the board for beginners.
The tool can also be used to tighten or loosen the wheels to adjust the speed as needed from beginner to advanced! That means this skateboard will grow with your child as they practice and learn.
Skitch skateboards were designed to provide kids with a fun and safe introduction to skateboarding, to help them improve balance, core and coordination. Unlike most skateboards that have an abrasive surface that can irritate kids’ sensitive skin and clothing, this board has a non-abrasive grip design that is more gentle yet still effective.
The wheels on this board are whisper quite on sidewalks and driveways. The board’s ultra lightweight and backpack feature makes it super easy to carry and practical to travel with.
