I received a set in grey.  I immediately fell in love with the color.  It’s more of a silver than a grey with a hint of metallic sheen.  They really do block out a lot of light.  We have an extra wide window so ended up needing two additional panels to get the full effect but even with just two, the difference is pretty dramatic.  We live just above  a middle school ball field where football games are held under the lights.  The lights shine right into our bedroom, not to mention the noise of the crowds.  The curtains really help reduce the light and noise.  Another thing I love about SoundAsleep curtains is that they are machine washable!
