We are taking a family trip this month that will include a flight as well as some car travel. I always have my kids pack a personal bag with snacks, comfort items and things to keep them busy. It always helps when I offer something new. Barron’s always comes through when it comes to activity books. Several new ones have just been released and will definitely be added to mom’s bag of tricks!

My son is really into puzzle and games so these books are right up his alley. Mind Boggling Maze Games is my personal favorite. These aren’t just about getting from point A to point B. They require more strategy and creative thinking. Mazecraft Adventures also adds fun elements to the mazes to make them more fun. The mazes in Labyrinth aren’t your basic mazes either! All of these maze books are brightly colored, engaging and super fun. Honestly, I’m hoping my kids will ask me to play along!
